What is Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (HMPSA)?

Hot Melt Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (HMPSA) is a specialized class of hot melt adhesive that remains tacky at room temperature and forms an instant bond upon application of pressure. Unlike conventional hot melts, HMPSA does not require curing or chemical reaction to bond.

It is supplied in solid form—typically as pellets, pillows, blocks, or sticks—and applied using hot melt applicators, slot die coaters, spray systems, rollers, or nozzles.
